For those of you who live in or are from the Western Kentucky area, when I say the phrase “BBQ on the River” you know exactly what I’m talking about, and if you’re like me at all, you get at least a little excited.
For 19 years now, BBQ on the River, a festival held in downtown Paducah, KY, has featured around 100 booths of the best BBQ in the country (served in any way you can imagine) all kinds of other delicious food, in case you’re not a BBQ fan, clothing/jewelry/crafts, live music, etc. and it’s ALL for charity.
Last year, Hope That Binds, a non-profit started by some dear friends that raises funds to award grants to families pursuing adoption, set up a fabulous booth selling Cherry Lime”Aid” and Orange”Aid” and were extremely successful in their venture. This year, they’re back and even better!
Not only is there Cherry Lime”Aid” and Orange”Aid” but there is also Funfetti Popcorn, BBQ Ranch Popcorn, and Iced Coffee! I will be working in the booth on Saturday from 6-8pm so if you are in the West KY area, please come out and help us with our Orphan”Aid” so we can support families that are adopting. The weather is supposed to be absolutely perfect so I can’t imagine a better way to spend your evening! Come see us!!
