Calling all moms (and dads) that read my blog…I need your help! Since I am pregnant with my second child, I have a pretty good idea of what to expect, know basically what items I will need, which ones I can’t live without, etc., however, there are several new products out there that hadn’t come out yet or that I didn’t know about when I was pregnant the first time. Here are a few that I am told I can NOT live without.
Two of my dearest mommy friends tell me that I MUST have this item. I have never actually seen one in person, but a after a quick online search, I get the idea that this little apparatus is perfect for your baby to sleep in because it makes them feel like they’re being held. Rylnn was a swing baby…He LOVED sleeping in his swing and did very well in it, but when he was a newborn, he was way too small for it, so I can see where this little sleeper could come in handy. The cheapest I am finding on is around $50. Is it worth it?
I actually borrowed one of these from a friend to use with Rylnn and I used it some, but not a lot. It worked well when he was just starting to sit up for me to feed him his first foods, but I don’t know if it would be worth it to go purchase a new one. Thoughts?
While I was eating lunch a week ago or so, one of my friends that brought her 8 month old pulled out the most interesting contraption that I think I’ve ever seen. It’s a spoon attachment that fits right on to the end of a baby food pouch that you can squeeze the food right on for easy feeding. I had never even heard of these until I saw her use it and when I found out they were only $3.99 for a 2 pack, I thought, heck yes! Opinions?
Now this is ridiculous, but I must have these. I had a great grandmother that always crocheted us booties growing up and my most favorite pair that she ever made me were red and I wore them out! I mean, we’re talking holes in the bottoms and I still wore them. If she were still alive, I can only imagine the precious little booties she would’ve made my baby girl and while these won’t be nearly as wonderful as hers would’ve been, I can look at them and think of her
So to all my parent friends out there…What items have you used that are amazing that you think I need? Since I am almost halfway through my pregnancy now, I’m starting to think a little more about these things and I don’t want to miss out on something wonderful!
