It’s time for Marvelous In My Monday!
I have experienced several new things lately that are making my Monday marvelous, but first, there’s always this.
I mean, that’s really enough to make any day marvelous, right?!
Last week, my sweet little friend Tiffany and I headed to our first encounter with Hot Yoga, and we have decided that Hot Yoga will now be our friend! It was like nothing I have ever done before and after having thought about it for a few days, I think it’s the perfect cross between a workout and a therapy session. The room was hot (duh) but not terribly and I was able to stretch A LOT which I absolutely love (and found out I was still pretty flexible) but between the water spritzing, perfuming smell, and laughing as we tried to find and maintain our “tree” it was wonderful and we plan to do it again this week!
21 Day Fix
I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was looking at a new get-fit program that I heard about through again, my sweet little friend Tiffany, that was a portion control/workout based plan created by Beachbody, producers of Les Mills, P90x, INSANITY, and Shakeology, just to name a few. I finally received it and started it last Monday, with the sole purpose of getting physically fit (and back into my pre-pregnancy jeans!). So far, I LOVE it. I have a serious problem when it comes to eating too much of anything and this teaches you to stop eating when you’re full, to eat better (more fruits and vegetables), and it comes with 30 minute workouts for each day, which I will admit, I substituted one day for my Hot Yoga and one day for running 1.5 miles with an arm and ab workout, but I think it’s a great program so far. I will definitely have a post devoted to my results and review after my 21 days are over
Mia’s 2 Month Old Checkup (with shots)
My precious baby girl got her first shots (that I had to witness) last week and it was absolutely heinous. There is no other word. My sweet baby turned blood red and broke out in a cold sweat in a matter of 5 seconds and I thought she was having an allergic reaction. This Mama may have overreacted just a little bit, but it scared me to death! The good news of the day…she is a perfect 10lb 22 inch BEAUTIFUL (the doctor kept saying, how pretty she was!) baby girl that has strong hips, a perfectly round head, strong neck, and a VERY strong set of lungs
What’s making your Monday marvelous?
